Leaders & Legends on March 14, 2024 marked a milestone as it celebrates ten years since the inaugural event in 2014. We are excited to honor the remarkable women who have contributed to the growth and development of the Chapter and the Montgomery County legal community.
We recognized our past Chapter presidents, paid tribute to pillars who have passed, and introduced our incredible honorees—The Honorable Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera, The Honorable Katherine D. Savage, The Honorable Ann S. Harrington, Sharon Johnson, Magistrate Lili Khozeimeh, and Heather S. Collier.

“The concept of the Leaders & Legends program was born from our desire to honor those women who have contributed to the Montgomery County WBA and who have been instrumental in its grown and development.”
The Montgomery County Chapter of the WBA was organized in 1981. Many of its members have been pioneers in the Montgomery County legal community. They have become judges and other esteemed members of the bar. They have served as mentors and role models for the next generation of women leaders.
The first Leaders & Legends program was held in May 2014 where we honored the first class of Leaders & Legends.
